Ashia J. Brownie, the Co-founder, Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O) of A&N Loan Hub Limited and member of the audit and compliance committee, has over 20 years’ experience in finance management and believes that personal and economic growth are key in aiding nation building. Ms. Brownie works in collaboration with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Operations Manager to provide strategic direction and approval for the daily operational activities of the organization. She began her expansive career at First Global Bank Limited, where she served as Operations Officer from 2005 – 2009.
In 2010 she earned the role of Supervisor in the Operations Department at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in California, USA. She then returned to Jamaica in 2011 where she began her tenure at Wilco Finance Limited as a Loan Officer, after which she went on to take the role of Loan Underwriter at The Jamaica Loan Shop (JLS).
After two years, she moved on to join a new micro-finance institution, Interim Financial Services Limited, where she served in the capacity of a Loans and Operations Manager for two (2) years. Ms. Brownie left the company in 2014, and with a wealth of experience and knowledge in the field, registered and commenced the operation of A&N Loan Hub. Ms. Brownie holds a Master’s in Business Administration at the University of South Wales and Bachelor’s Degree in Management Studies, majoring in Entrepreneurship from the Northern Caribbean University (NCU).
